COMMON QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED
Where are you located? Because of the nature of our work, we do not publicize any of our locations. If you would like to visit us at any time, please let us know and we will schedule an appointment.
Can volunteers ride the horses? We are not set up for training or riding on a regular basis, but do allow skilled volunteers to assess the horses for rideability prior to adoption.
How many horses do you have? That varies throughout the year, but generally we will have 5-10 at our primary care facility and 15-25 at other well-care locations.
How many volunteers do you have and are they required to work a specific number of hours? Generally we have about 25 volunteers at the critical care barn, and another 10-15 who work on projects not necessarily related to horse care. We ask that volunteers commit a minimum of two hours per week; there is no maximum commitment or fee for volunteering.

Purchase supplies at local feed stores such as Bothell Feed or Dayville Hay & Grain and we will pick it up. Don’t forget to let us know who you are! Your gift allows us to save our dollars for medical care or other special needs.
